After completing my undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, I spent two years on Wall Street in trading and strategy/research. In 2018 I decided to swap spreadsheets and Bloomberg terminals for user journey maps and Post-It collages, culminating in a master’s degree in Integrated Product Design from the University of Pennsylvania in May 2020. I’m now working as a product manager at a Philadelphia area financial technology startup with a focus on technical integrations and customer/marketing communications.
The work in my portfolio reflects my technical and financial background in addition to my training in user-centered design. My projects span business strategy development, hardware engineering, mechatronics design, user research, and UX design. I’m passionate about leveraging my familiarity with engineering, business, and design to create products that address gender equality, sustainability, and improving the financial wellness of my generation.
Outside the office, I’m a pirate history enthusiast, golfer, (occasional) baker, genealogy researcher, and avid Economist reader.
